Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- large apples, sliced - 6 item
How to make german apple cake:
Topping:1 c. flour1 stick oleo3/4 c. sugar Cream oleo and add sugar gradually. Add egg and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Spread on greased jelly roll pan. Top with apple slices. Sprinkle with a little sugar and cinnamon.Topping: Work flour, oleo and sugar into crumbs. Sprinkle over apple slices. Bake 40 to 50 minutes in 350° oven.
