Ingredients/Components
- egg white - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- onion powder - 1/4 tsp
- sweet potatoes - 1 lb
How to make sweet potato fries:
Peel and cut potatoes into 1/4 inch by 1/2 inch strips. In a bowl, combine egg white and seasonings; beat well. Add potatoes; toss to coat. Place in a single layer on two baking sheets coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake, uncovered, at 450° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 8 servings. One 1/2 c. serving equals 40 calories, 20 mg sodium, 0 cholesterol, 9 gm carbohydrate, 1 gm protein, trace fat.
