- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 3 Tbsp
- honey - 1/2 c
- apple juice - 1 c
- sweet potatoes or canned yams - 5 item
- large juicy apples, peeled, cored and sliced - 4 item
How to make sweet potato and apple casserole:
Boil unpeeled sweet potatoes in water until almost tender (about 15 to 20 minutes). Peel and slice about 1/4-inch thick when cooled (if using canned yams, just drain off the juice and slice them).
