  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/3 c
  • all-purpose flour
  • honey - 2/3 c
  • lemon extract - 1 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Preheat oven to 375°. Mix sugar, shortening, egg, honey and lemon extract. Stir in remaining ingredients. Roll dough 1/4-inch thick. Use cookie cutters to cut into desired shapes. Place 1 inch apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 7 to 8 mi
