Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 lb
- baking powder
- all-purpose flour
- broken walnuts or pecans - 3/4 c
- margarine 1 stick plus 2 2/3 Tbsp - 2/3 c
How to make conga bars:
Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Set oven to 375°. Cream the margarine. Add the sugar gradually. Add one egg at a time, beating constantly. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add a little at a time. Beat in vanilla, chocolate and nuts. Spread evenly in pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Cool before cutting.
