  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • powdered sugar
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp
  • lemon flavoring - 1 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Mix sugar and butter. Add egg and flavorings. Stir in dry ingredients. Blend well and chill for several hours. Roll dough on lightly floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350° until lightly brown.
