Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • cooking oil - 3/4 c
  • butternut flavoring - 1 tsp
  • box Duncan Hines Deluxe yellow cake mix - 1 item

How to make sock it to me cake:

Mix the first 4 ingredients well. Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Add the flavorings and mix well. Pour half the batter in a 10-inch tube pan. Mix the cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over batter in pan. Pour remaining batter in pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Do not open oven door until done.

Glaze: Mix well the confectioners sugar, melted butter and milk. Spread glaze over cake while still warm after removing cake from pan.
