Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- egg - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- medium yellow squash, sliced - 4 item
- crushed saltines - 1 c
How to make squash casserole:
Combine squash and onion in saucepan with small amount of water. Cook until tender. Drain. Add remaining ingredients and pour into greased casserole dish. Top with some crumbled crackers and grated Cheddar cheese. Bake in 350° oven for approximately 35 minutes until top is brown. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
