Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onions - 2 item
- Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix - 1 pkg
- yellow summer squash
- pimentos, drained - 1 item
- Topping:3/4 stick margarine
How to make squash casserole:
Topping:3/4 stick margarine1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix Wash and slice squash. Boil until tender and drain. Mix all ingredients together and add salt and pepper to taste. Place in baking dish. Mix 3/4 package of stuffing mix with 3/4 stick of margarine or butter until blended. Spread over top of squash mixture. Bake at 350° for about 20 minutes.
