  • sour cream - 1 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • chopped green pepper - 1/3 c
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 item
  • small onion - 1 item
  • Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix - 1 item
  • can whole kernel corn - 1 item
  • stick melted margarine - 1 item
  • jar sliced mushrooms - 1 item
  • can LeSueur green peas - 1 item
  • box noodles twists - 1/2 item

How to make hamburger casserole:

Preheat oven to 350°. Brown hamburger and onion in a skillet. Combine all ingredients in a very large container except for the stuffing mix and margarine; mix well. Pour half of the mixture into each of 2 casserole dishes. Cover with stuffing mix and margarine. Freeze one casserole for later and bake the other at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes. Makes enough for 2 casseroles.
