Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 item
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- corn bread crumbs - 4 c
- yellow squash, cooked until tender and cooled - 3 c
How to make squash casserole:
Mix all ingredients except margarine and bread crumbs. Melt margarine; add bread crumbs. Line a greased casserole with half of the bread crumb mixture. Spoon in squash mixture. Top with remaining bread crumbs. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
