Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- Ritz crackers, crushed - 2 pkg
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- shredded mild Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- or 8 squash, thinly sliced - 6 item
How to make squash casserole:
Boil squash and onion for 5 minutes; drain. Pour melted margarine into a casserole dish; add squash. Combine egg, milk, salt, pepper and sugar; mix well and pour over squash. Sprinkle evenly with cheese. Spread cracker crumbs over casserole. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
