Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onions, sliced - 2 item
- squash fresh or frozen - 1 lb
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and onions in salted water until tender. Drain. Beat until light. Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1/3 of the cheese and bread crumbs for a topping. Pour into a buttered casserole dish and top with cheese and crumbs. Bake at 350°Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
