Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- grated Cheddar cheese
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cracker crumbs Ritz - 1 c
- medium squash - 7 item
How to make squash casserole:
Put water in large skillet and add squash and onion. Cook until tender over medium heat. Drain and mash squash. Mix with electric mixer up to 3 eggs and 1/2 cup milk. Stir in grated cheese and cracker crumbs. Put cheese on top. Bake at 300° for 30 to 45 minutes.Similar recipe submitted by Louise Thompson and Barbara Hale.
