Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- sharp cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
- cup cracker crumbs - 1 item
- medium yellow squash - 2 item
How to make squash casserole:
Saute onion in butter; add crumbs. In 2-quart casserole dish, layer thinly sliced squash, cheese and crumb mixture, ending with crumbs. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
