Spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- ketchup - 1/3 c
- small onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- sliced mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- large red onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- Chinese chow mein noodles - 1 c
- salad oil or light olive oil
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours prior to serving
- to 3 plum tomatoes, chopped or slices - 2 item
How to make spinach salad:
Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix. Refrigerate at least 4 hours prior to serving.Salad:1 pkg. spinach1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms1 large red onion, thinly sliced2 to 3 plum tomatoes, chopped or slices1 c. Chinese chow mein noodles Prior to serving, toss all ingredients. This is excellent salad for buffets as the spinach holds up well.
