Spinach salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- red wine vinegar - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 1/3 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- spinach, washed - 1 pkg
- - 10 slices thick bacon, cooked crisp - 8 item
- red apple, chopped - 1 item
- pecans, toasted - 1/2 c
How to make spinach salad:
Mix the vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, salt and pepper. Refrigerate until chilled. Wash the spinach. Toast the pecans. Cook the bacon. Chop the apple. Mix with spinach and pour the dressing over it.Recipe categories: American, Salads, North american.
