Spinach salad



  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • hard-cooked eggs, chopped - 4 item
  • red onion, chopped - 1 item
  • canola oil - 1 c
  • can bean sprouts, drained - 1 item
  • can sliced water chestnuts, drained - 1 item
  • bag fresh clean spinach - 1 item
  • can Chinese chow mein noodles - 1 item
  • bacon, fried crisp and crumbled - 1/2 lb
  • Crisp the bean sprouts by placing in refrigerator for a couple of hours

How to make spinach salad:

Tear spinach into large salad bowl. Crisp the bean sprouts by placing in refrigerator for a couple of hours. Add noodles, sprouts, water chestnuts and chopped eggs. Crumble bacon over all. Add desired amounts of dressing just before serving.Dressing:1/3 c. white vinegar1 tsp. salt3/4 c. sugar1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1 red onion, chopped1 c. canola oil Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until creamy. Keep dressing refrigerated.
