- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch or flour - 1 item
- red beets - 1 item
How to make harvard beets:
Cook as many beets as you plan to eat. Skin and dice into a saucepan. For 4 people, put them in a saucepan; add butter, sugar, vinegar and slightly thicken with flour or cornstarch. Bring to a boil and serve.Another way to serve red beets: Shredded into a saucepan; add butter and salt to taste. Keep turning for a few minutes and serve.
