Spaghetti pie
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 2 lb
- chopped onion - 1 item
- garlic salt to taste - 1 item
- oregano to taste - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- small cottage cheese - 1 item
- Ragu sauce - 1 qt
- Mozzarella cheese - 2 c
How to make spaghetti pie:
Brown ground beef with onion and seasonings; set aside. Cook spaghetti as directed; drain. Turn into a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan. Beat eggs; drizzle over spaghetti. Pour butter over top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Spread with cottage cheese. Add cooled meat mixture; pour sauce over meat layer. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours. Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
