Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- Spanish peanuts - 1/2 c
- ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
- cooked chicken - 4 c
- curry powder - 2 tsp
- mayonnaise
- bean sprouts - 1/4 lb
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- sliced green onions and tops - 1/2 c
- iceberg lettuce - 6 c
- medium cucumber, thinly sliced - 1 item
- to 18 cherry tomatoes, halved - 12 item
How to make overnight layered chicken salad:
Dressing:2 c. mayonnaise2 tsp. curry powder1/2 tsp. ground ginger1 Tbsp. sugar Spread lettuce in shallow 4-quart serving dish. Top with bean sprouts, chestnuts, onions, cucumber and chicken. Pat pea pods dry and put on top. In a small bowl, combine dressing ingredients. Spread over pea pods. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
