Spaghetti pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- garlic salt - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- large carton cottage cheese - 1 item
- spaghetti, cooked and drained do not rinse - 8 oz
How to make spaghetti pie:
Brown ground beef, onion, pepper; add tomato paste and tomato sauce; season with garlic salt, oregano and sugar to taste. Simmer for a few minutes. Mix spaghetti, egg, butter, and Parmesan cheese and put in bottom of casserole dish. Spread cottage cheese over the spaghetti mixture; spread meat mixture over cottage cheese. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350° about 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
