Shrimp creole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- chopped bell pepper - 1/2 c
- hot sauce to taste - 1 item
- slices bacon, fried - 4 item
How to make shrimp creole:
Fry the bacon; remove from pan. Add the onion, bell pepper, celery, tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar and hot sauce to the grease. Cook for 1 hour, then add the shrimp. Cook for 15 minutes. Serve over cooked rice. Serve with salad and rolls.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
