Scalloped chicken and potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- chopped, cooked chicken - 2 c
- carrots, thinly sliced - 1 c
- peeled and thinly sliced potatoes - 3 c
- hot style catsup - 1/3 c
How to make scalloped chicken and potatoes:
Combine vegetables; carefully stir in chicken. In saucepan, combine flour, salt and dash of pepper. Blend in milk. Stir in catsup and Worcestershire sauce. Cook and stir until bubbly. Stir into vegetable mixture. Turn into 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 375° until potatoes are tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
