Ginger chicken
Ingredients/Components
- chicken breast, sliced - 1 item
- potato flour - 1 tsp
- thin soy sauce - 3 tsp
- ginger powder - 1/4 tsp
- sugar
- plus 1 tsp - 2 Tbsp
- medium onions, sliced - 2 item
- can sliced bamboo shoots - 5 oz
- sliced button mushrooms - 1/2 c
- lemon grass - 1/4 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
How to make ginger chicken:
Marinate chicken for 1/2 hour in 1 teaspoon potato flour, 2 teaspoons thin soy sauce, 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon oil. Stir-fry chicken with 1 tablespoon oil for 1 minute; remove from wok. Combine 1 tablespoon oil, onion, bamboo shoots and mushrooms in wok. Season with 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, lemon grass, water and salt. Cover and cook over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
