Barbecued meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- water
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- paprika - 2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- catsup
- ground beef
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- celery seed - 1 tsp
How to make barbecued meatballs:
Preheat oven to 350°.Combine egg, milk, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup chopped onion, salt, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and ground beef. Shape into meatballs. Roll in flour and paprika. Brown in shortening. Place in casserole pan or empty frying pan.
Cook catsup, water, vinegar, 1/2 cup chopped onion, sugar, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce and celery seed. Bring to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 45 minutes to an hour. Serve over noodles or as party balls.
