Saucy cocktail meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 1 lb
- bread crumbs - 2 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- green pepper, finely chopped - 1/3 c
- onion, finely chopped - 1/3 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
How to make saucy cocktail meatballs:
Mix beef, crumbs, egg and salt; shape into 50 meatballs. Place in shallow, ovenproof baking pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch). Broil until browned; turn once. Spoon off fat. In saucepan, cook pepper and onion in butter until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients; pour over meatballs. Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
