Crab delight
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- onion juice - 1 tsp
- salad dressing - 1/4 c
- green pepper, finely chopped - 1/4 c
- onion, grated - 1 Tbsp
- pimento, chopped - 3 Tbsp
- fresh or canned crabmeat - 2 lb
- cayenne powder - 1/2 tsp
- extra salad dressing for top - 1 item
How to make crab delight:
Bone and flake the crabmeat. Combine with green pepper and pimento. Blend together the 1/4 cup salad dressing, egg yolks, onion juice, onion and seasonings. Add to the crabmeat mixture; toss until well mixed. Pack into 6 custard cups and unmold into casserole. Top each with 1 tablespoon of salad dressing; sprinkle with paprika. Bake in a 400° oven for 25 minutes, or until bubbly. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Crab.
