Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 8 oz
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped - 3 item
  • chopped onions, finely chopped - 1/4 c
  • chopped walnuts or pecans, finely chopped - 3/4 c
  • chopped green pepper, finely chopped - 1/4 c
  • chopped pimento, finely chopped - 3 Tbsp

How to make sandwich filling:

Combine all ingredients and use as a filling between lightly buttered slices of thin sliced white loaf bread. Trim crust; cut each sandwich in 4 triangles. Makes 1 3/4 cups filling. Put about 1/4 cup of filling in 1 sandwich if you want it to be thick. Do not substitute and do not leave out any ingredients and even though this sounds strange, it is so good. Do not use a food processor to chop.

Number of Servings: If you use 1/4 cup in each sandwich, this will make 28 small finger sandwiches. Preparation Time: I have no idea - it's been too long.
