Ingredients/Components
- lean ground beef
- tomato sauce from 15 oz - 3/4 c
- uncooked Quaker oats I use old fashioned - 3/4 c
- egg or 2 egg whites - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- lemon pepper - 1/4 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- Garnish: leftover tomato sauce
- margarine - 1 tsp
- dash of basil - 1 item
How to make meat loaf:
Garnish: leftover tomato sauce1 tsp. margarine1 tsp. lemon pepper dash of basil Preheat oven to 350°. Combine all ingredients; mix lightly, but thoroughly. Press into 8 x 4-inch loaf pan, which has been sprayed with Pam. Bake 1 hour. Drain; let stand 5 minutes. Slice while in loaf pan.Garnish: In saucepan, combine all ingredients and heat. Serve over meat loaf instead of ketchup.
