Ingredients/Components

  • flour
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • large eggs - 2 item
  • grated cheese - 1 c
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • ground pork - 1/2 lb
  • enough cold water to make a manageable dough - 1 item
  • Knead dough well

How to make ravioli:

Mix together until rather on the stiff side. Knead dough well. Roll thin and cut in squares.Filling:1 lb. veal or ground beef1/2 lb. ground pork2 Tbsp. butter salt and pepper to taste1 egg1 c. grated cheese1 c. bread crumbs Mix meats together. Simmer meat in butter, salt and pepper to taste. Beat egg, mix with cheese and bread crumbs. Mix with meat; mix well.

Place 1 tablespoon filling on square of dough. Cover then crimp 2 pieces of dough together. Cook in salt water (to cover well), drain. Cover with sauce (any of your favorite spaghetti sauces). Sprinkle with grated cheese and serve. Serves about 4.
