Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- catsup - 1 c
- lemon - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- dashes Tabasco sauce - 2 item
- ribs, cut in pieces - 3 4
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Place ribs in shallow roasting pan, meaty sides up. On each piece, place a slice of unpeeled lemon and a thin slice of onion. Roast in 450° oven for 30 minutes.Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil and pour over ribs. Continue baking in 350° oven until tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Baste ribs with sauce every 15 minutes. If sauce gets too thick, add more water. Makes 4 servings.
