Ingredients/Components

  • can pumpkin - 1 oz
  • Crisco oil
  • sugar - 2 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • large eggs - 4 item
  • chopped walnuts optional - 1 item

How to make pumpkin cake:

Mix flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder; set aside. Mix sugar, oil, eggs and pumpkin; then add dry ingredients. Mix in walnuts. Bake at 350° about 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
