Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 1 doz
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 11 c
- almond extract - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 8 tsp
- margarine - 1 lb
- grated orange rind and juice - 1 item
How to make italian cookies:
Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Mix in rind from 1 orange and its juice. Add almond extract and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixed with baking powder. Bake at 375°. Do not brown. Ice with confectioners sugar icing.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
