  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 1 doz
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • flour - 11 c
  • almond extract - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 8 tsp
  • margarine - 1 lb
  • grated orange rind and juice - 1 item

How to make italian cookies:

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Mix in rind from 1 orange and its juice. Add almond extract and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixed with baking powder. Bake at 375°. Do not brown. Ice with confectioners sugar icing.
