vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
oil - 1 c
baking soda - 2 tsp
pumpkin - 2 c
stick butter, softened - 1/2 item
chopped pecans optional - 1/2 c
all-purpose flour presifted - 2 c
Grease and flour lightly a tube pan

How to make pumpkin cake:

Preheat oven to 275°. Grease and flour lightly a tube pan. Mix all above ingredients. Pour into pan and bake for 2 hours.Frosting:4 oz. cream cheese, softened1/2 stick butter, softened1 tsp. vanilla1/2 box powdered sugar (about 2 c.)1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional) Mix above ingredients and spread on cooled cake.
