Potato sausage casserole



  • milk - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • 8 oz - 2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • chopped fresh parsley - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
  • sliced peeled raw potatoes - 3 c

How to make potato sausage casserole:

Brown sausage; drain and set aside. Combine soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper. In a greased 2-quart casserole, layer half of the potatoes, half of the soup mixture and half of the sausage. Repeat, ending with sausage. Cover; bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese, return to oven, uncovered, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until cheese melts. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
