  • milk - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 Tbsp
  • 8 oz - 2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 Tbsp
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • can mushroom soup - 1 item
  • pork sausage - 1 lb
  • sliced potatoes, raw - 3 c

How to make potato sausage casserole:

Brown sausage, drain and set aside. Combine soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper. In a greased 2-quart casserole, layer half the potatoes, half soup mixture and half the sausage. Repeat, ending with the sausage. Cover and bake for one hour, or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese, return to oven, bake, uncovered, for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
