Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- crushed cornflakes - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- medium potatoes - 6 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
- bunch green onions, chopped - 1/2 item
- cube butter - 1 item
How to make potato casserole:
Boil potatoes, cool, peel and shred with coarse grater. Melt butter. Add sour cream, soup and cheese. Stir over medium heat until cheese melts. Add onions and salt. Spread 1/2 potatoes in an 8 x 13-inch pan, 1/2 cheese in layers. Top with cornflakes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Casseroles.
