Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • melted butter - 2 Tbsp
  • crushed cornflakes - 1 c
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • medium potatoes - 6 item
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 c
  • bunch green onions, chopped - 1/2 item
  • cube butter - 1 item

How to make potato casserole:

Boil potatoes, cool, peel and shred with coarse grater. Melt butter. Add sour cream, soup and cheese. Stir over medium heat until cheese melts. Add onions and salt. Spread 1/2 potatoes in an 8 x 13-inch pan, 1/2 cheese in layers. Top with cornflakes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
