Golden potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- medium potatoes - 6 item
- bunch green onions, chopped - 1 item
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 10 oz
How to make golden potato casserole:
Scrub potatoes; cook in boiling salted water until tender. Remove from water and cool. Peel and grate with a coarse grater. Add sour cream, onions, cheese, milk, salt and pepper. Mix and turn into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle on top. Bake at 300° for 50 minutes. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Potato, Vegetables, Casseroles.
