Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 c
  • celery seed - 2 Tbsp
  • medium onions, chopped fine - 2 item
  • Wesson oil - 1 c
  • cabbage head, grated - 1 item

How to make cabbage slaw:

Pour 2 cups sugar over grated cabbage and onion. Mix good and set aside. Mix salt, vinegar, celery seed and sugar with oil. Bring to a boil. Pour boiling mix over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate 12 hours. Keeps two weeks.
