Golden potato casserole



  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • melted butter - 2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • bread crumbs - 1/3 c
  • medium potatoes - 6 item
  • bunch green onions, chopped - 1 item
  • sharp cheese, grated - 10 oz

How to make golden potato casserole:

Scrub potatoes and cook in boiling salted water; drain and cool. Peel potatoes and grate. Add sour cream, cheese, onions, milk, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly; turn into buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole, then smooth. Combine melted butter and crumbs; sprinkle over top. Bake at 300° for 50 minutes.
