Ingredients/Components
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- envelope Lipton onion soup mix - 1 item
- soup can water - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup or try cream of chicken or celery - 1 item
- to 12 chicken pieces thighs, drumsticks or breasts - 6 item
How to make patio chicken:
Put rice on bottom of buttered large 9 x 15-inch Pyrex dish. In saucepan, heat cream soup, water and onion soup mix. Pour hot soup mixture over rice, being sure all rice is covered. Lay chicken pieces on rice and soup mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours, covered. Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer. (Can brush chicken with melted butter before last 20 minutes of baking.)Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Chicken breast.
