Ingredients/Components
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 1/2
- uncooked long grain rice - 3/4 1
- envelope dry onion soup mix - 3/4 item
- soup can water - 1 item
- can button mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- chicken thighs are best - 1 item
How to make patio chicken:
Sprinkle raw rice evenly in bottom of 12 x 9-inch baking dish. Cover with dry onion soup mix. Arrange chicken pieces on top. Combine soup, water and pepper; pour over chicken. Add mushrooms. Cover. Bake in a 350° oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Remove cover; brush with butter and bake 10 to 20 minutes longer until chicken is brown.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Chicken breast.
