Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
How to make oven caramel corn:
Boil brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; add soda and vanilla and stir over corn. Mix well; spread on cookie sheet(s). Place in oven at 200° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes. Remove and let cool. Break apart.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Gluten Free.
