Ingredients/Components

  • milk
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • paprika - 1/4 tsp
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
  • cayenne pepper - 1/16 tsp
  • crab - 2 c
  • chopped green or red peppers optional - 1/4 c
  • Add the seasonings and then the crab

How to make crab imperial:

Make a white sauce with the flour, butter and milk. Add the seasonings and then the crab. Place in a baking dish and sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake at 400° for 15 to 18 minutes.Patties (Additional Ingredients): breadcrumbs1/2 c. milk1 egg Make mixture as indicated in casserole version and chill. Make into patties. Beat egg and milk together. Roll patties in bread crumbs. Dip in egg and milk mixture and roll again in bread crumbs. Chill again.

Place patties in skillet with large amount of hot oil (1/4 to 1/2-inch oil in the skillet). Cook until brown on one side and turn to brown on the other side.
