Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- carrots - 1 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- bell pepper - 1 item
- large sweet onion - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Simmer first 5 ingredients together a little while. In another pan, cook the carrots, salted and peppered to taste, until done (slice them however you like them). When carrots are done, layer carrots, onion and pepper in a bowl. Pour hot sauce over all and cool in refrigerator. Serve chilled.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
