Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- bell pepper - 1 item
- small jar cocktail onions - 1 item
How to make marinated carrots:
Peel and slice carrots and cook in salted water until tender. Drain well. Chop pepper and onions. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over carrots while still hot. Marinate 2 or 3 days in refrigerator. Drain before serving or save broth or liquid because this will last several days.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
