Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • salad oil - 1/2 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • carrots - 2 lb
  • can tomato soup - 1 item
  • bell pepper - 1 item
  • small jar cocktail onions - 1 item

How to make marinated carrots:

Peel and slice carrots and cook in salted water until tender. Drain well. Chop pepper and onions. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over carrots while still hot. Marinate 2 or 3 days in refrigerator. Drain before serving or save broth or liquid because this will last several days.
