Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- hot water - 1 c
- white Karo syrup optional - 1/4 c
- imitation maple extract - 1 2
- vanilla extract or 1 tsp - 1 tsp
How to make maple syrup:
In medium pan place first 3 ingredients. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and cool. Stir in remaining ingredients. Serve over pancakes or waffles. Makes about 1 pint syrup.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
