Jambalaya
Ingredients/Components
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- olive oil - 4 Tbsp
- raw rice - 2 c
- large onion - 1 item
- large bell pepper - 1 item
- to 4 cloves garlic - 3 item
- beef consomme - 3 c
- envelope Lipton onion-mushroom soup mix - 1 item
- Hillshire Farm smoked sausage, cut bite-sized - 1 lb
How to make jambalaya:
Saute vegetables in olive oil. Add sausage and stir-fry for approximately 20 minutes or until brown. Add raw rice, consomme and onion soup mix. Stir well. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce to low heat. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Poultry, Meat, Cajun.
