Jambalaya mix
Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- dried onion flakes - 1 Tbsp
- dried parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- red pepper - 1/4 tsp
- dried thyme - 1/4 tsp
- uncooked long grain rice - 1 c
- celery flakes - 1 tsp
- beef flavored bouillon granules - 2 tsp
- dried snipped chives - 1 tsp
How to make jambalaya mix:
Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container. Makes 1 1/4 cups.To use: Combine rice mix and 2 cups water and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce in Dutch oven. Bring to boil; cover reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in 1 pound sliced smoked sausage and 1 cup chopped cooked ham. Heat through. Makes 6 servings.
